欧州組織の核研究 (CERN) は、公共用大型ハドロン衝突型加速器 (LHC) からの生データの 300 テラバイト (TB) をリリースしました。また、2014 年に、CERN はデータをリリースしました。日付まで最大である情報は、CERN のオープン データ ポータルを通じてアクセスできます。 データは、100 tb 以上である 7 TeV での陽子衝突からです。それは 2011 年に LHC でコンパクトなミュオン ソレノイド (CMS) 検出器によって収集された以前のデータをしました。2008 年、LHC は、世界で最大かつ最も強力な粒子加速器が完成し、2010 年 9 月に登場したそれをすると考えられています。 LHC を建物の背後にある主な目的は、についてあまり知られている暗黒物質のより良い理解を持っていた。

European Organization of Nuclear Research (CERN) has released 300 terabytes (TB) of raw data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) for the public use. In 2014 also, CERN has released the data. The information, which is the largest till date, can be accessed through the CERN Open Data Portal. The data, which is of more than 100 TB, is from proton collisions at 7 TeV. It has been added up to the previous data gathered at the LHC by the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector in 2011. In 2008, the LHC, which is considered to be the world’s largest and most robust particle accelerator was completed and it first went live in September 2010. Main aim behind building the LHC was to have a better understanding of the dark matter, about which not much is known.
