Abstract submission will be open from 1st March – 31st May for the special edition. If you’re not part of the CCI programme but have used the freely available datasets in your research your submission is still welcome. The Special Issue aims to demonstrate how Essential Climate Variables (ECVs) can be generated from Earth Observation data, as well as the use of those variables in climate modelling and other climate-related applications. The special issue is mainly focused on the Climate Change Initiative (CCI) programme of the European Space Agency (ESA). External papers to the CCI program are welcomed if they substantially use ESA CCI program generated datasets, which are freely available via the CCI data access portal.
