2016 年の交通機関のデータは任意の都市に重要です。この情報にアクセスすることがなく人々 をポイントから取得ポイント B、ほんの数十年前の規範が高級にほとんど今日なしでは生きてする意志がないことくらい推測残っています。 広い観客とプラットフォームのため、交通機関のデータを普遍的に使用可能な形式に変換する多くの年かかった。2005 年に普遍的に理解されるべき交通機関のデータを有効にするデータの一般的な標準を与える一般交通フィード仕様 (GTFS) は作成されました。今、Google や他の企業は、この交通データを使用を正確に旅行時間を推定しより効率的に自社のソフトウェアを介して彼らの旅行を計画する世界中の人々 を有効にする可能性があります。

In 2016, transit data is important to any urban city. Without access to this information, people are left to guess how long it will take to get from point A to point B, the norm just a few decades ago, but a luxury that most nowadays are unwilling to live without. It took many years to translate transit data into a universally usable format for wider audiences and platforms. In 2005, General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) was created, giving a common standard for data which enabled transit data to be universally understood. Google and other companies could now use this transit data to accurately estimate travel times and enable people around the globe to plan their trips more efficiently via their software.
