Recently, we have had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Trone of the State Demography Office in the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) about how the department is leading the way in government open data. Most notably, Daniel himself helped create the Census API where he has cleaned and published all Census data for the nation from 1980 through current times.
