Students from Xiamen University School of Management in South East China joined those from Newcastle University Business School for an internship that will help shape an FSB campaign on open data A campaign by the Federation of Small Businesses to have the region recognised as a leader in the innovative use of open data has been given a shot in the arm through a project run by students from both the North East and China. Three young people from Xiamen University School of Management in South East China visited Newcastle for a three-week internship, during which they worked alongside four Newcastle University Business School students. The project saw the group research how open data is used around the world and how improved accessibility to it can support start-ups and business growth.
