The Open Government Partnership (OGP) in collaboration with the Performance Management and Service Delivery Directorate (PMSD) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Friday 2nd October, 2015 presented its midterm self-assessment report to President Ernest Bai Koroma at State House, Freetown. The presentation was to brief the president on the eleven commitments made in the OGP process. Receiving the report, President Koroma said the assessment report is in fulfilment of his dream immediately after coming to governance, when he called for continuous open discussions to create public awareness about governance and what is expected from the citizenry. That, he said, gave birth to the Open Government Initiative (OGI).
