AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Continuum Analytics, which develops Anaconda, the leading modern open source analytics platform powered by Python, has secured a $24 million Series A funding round led by General Catalyst Partners and BuildGroup. The funds will be leveraged to accelerate product development, expand sales and marketing, and continue to invest in strengthening the Python and Anaconda communities. The latest round of $24 million in funding comes after $10 million in initial funding from a combination of angel investors and a DARPA award, bringing total funding to-date to $34 million. Continuum’s Anaconda platform enables organizations to quickly analyze, manage and visualize big data in order to make critical decisions.
