A new online portal for environmental data and reports has been developed by the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR) as part of the Government Open Data Initiative. Enviro Data SA, now available to the public, brings together information from Agencies and institutions, including DEWNR, the Environment Protection Authority, Primary Industries and Regions, the Bureau of Meteorology, the Goyder Institute, the Murray Darling Basin Authority and the Department of State Development. Minister for Environment, Sustainability and Conservation, Ian Hunter said new data sets and reports would continue to be added to the Enviro Data SA site, providing a wealth of information on the State’s natural resources.
