マイクロソフト(MSFT)はAzureクラウド・コンピューティング・ソフトウェアの顧客へのサービス提供を来年ヨハネスブルグ、ケープタウン、南アフリカでデータセンターを開設する計画だ。

調査会社International Data Corp.(IDC)は、南アフリカではクラウドによる売上は243000000ドルと推定され、2021年間20%成長すると予想されている。

Microsoft、クラウドサービスの3大企業、アマゾン・ドット・コム(AMZN)や文字(「GOOGL)は、2016年にクラウドコンピューティング設備に合わせて31540000000ドルを費やしており、Wall Street Journalが伝えている。

マイクロソフト社株は、26日午前の取引で0.57%上昇した。

Microsoft  (MSFT) plans to open data centers in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa next year to serve customers of its Azure cloud computing software. Data research firm International Data Corp. estimated that cloud revenue in South Africa was $243 million, with that number expected to grow 20% annually through 2021. Microsoft, Amazon.com  (AMZN) and Alphabet  (GOOGL) , the top three players in cloud services, spent a combined $31.54 billion in cloud computing capital expenditures in 2016, according to the Wall Street Journal.
