Google is providing a software development kit, called ML Kit, that offers the company’s machine learning technologies to developers building Android and iOS mobile apps. Featuring a set of base APIs to build machine learning into apps, ML Kit is now in public beta. It works with the Firebase mobile development platform. (Apple has its own Core ML machine learning kit for only iOS.) Due soon is a smart reply API, providing suggested text snippets to fit a context. ML Kit acts as an API layer to custom models to make it easy to use these models.

Consumers could negotiate a better mortgage rate with a rival bank under a reform announced in the federal budget to give consumers more control over their personal data, according to Australian Banking Association chief executive Anna Bligh. Treasurer Scott Morrison announced an open banking regime, with $44.6 million over four years for a data-sharing framework known as a “consumer data right”. The consumer data right will allow consumers and small- to medium-sized businesses to access and transfer their personal data between services providers.

There are 45 of them in total, and you’ll have to search really hard if you want to find them. It’s worth the effort though, especially since collecting these memories will open data caches which lead to some great rewards. That being said, we’ll give you some tips on the latent memories locations in the game. The first thing to note is that you need to shoot the memories to collect them. However, it’s not that simple.

The UAE’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the launching of artificial intelligence-equipped smart devices to monitor Dubai’s paid parking zones. According to Gulf News, the devices will be mounted on RTA vehicles allowing officers to just drive around the paid parking lots, and the scanners will automatically detect parked cars with expired parking tickets. “The system will step up the efficiency of monitoring and enforcement, and reduce the potential errors in filing offences.
