The AlphaGo artificial intelligence system DeepMind, created by Google has this week defeated the world’s number one GO player Ke Jie and has taken the lead 1-0 up in three-game match. The artificial intelligence is surprising its developers by being 10 years ahead of where it should be. Under the pseudonym “Master” AlphaGo used for a recent series of online matches, during which it won 60 games straight. “I think it was a really wonderful game – Huge respect to Ke Jie for playing such a great game and pushing AlphaGo to its limits.

• ウクライナ18は2017データオープンバロメータ順位で配置する

ウクライナはOpen Dataバロメータランキングで44位で、昨年より18位まで上がってきたが、州政府機関eガバナンスオレクシーヴィスクブ副社長は述べている。

「ウクライナは62時から44時まで世界中でオープンデータランキングで18位だった:ジョージア州での評価の中で最も正の「跳躍」をまとめている」と自身のフェイスブックページに書いている。

ウクライナがその第44の位置、エストニアの36点の結果は一致していた。グルジア、ブルガリア、ジャマイカ、トルコは40位でした。南アフリカ、ポーランド、46位に浮上した。

ランキングのリーダーは、米国、英国、カナダ、フランス、米国、それぞれ1、2 3、4位にランクした。

スワジランドとイエメンはランキングの下部である。

報告によると、5月のウクライナオープンデータ開発ランキング第24位の立場をとり,グローバルオープンデータインデックスの研究の結果、前年度比30人増となっていたという。

Ukraine ranked 44th in the Open Data Barometer ranking, having climbed 18 positions up compared to last year’s results, Deputy Head of the State Agency for e-Governance Oleksiy Vyskub has said. “Ukraine has climbed 18 positions in the world open data ranking: from 62 to 44, having taken the most positive ‘leap’ in the rating together with Georgia,” he wrote on his Facebook page. Ukraine shared its 44th position and the result of 36 points with Estonia. Georgia, Bulgaria, Jamaica, and Turkey ranked 40th. South Africa and Poland took the 46th position.

• 南アフリカのMicrosoft Open2群データセンター設置へ

マイクロソフト(MSFT)はAzureクラウド・コンピューティング・ソフトウェアの顧客へのサービス提供を来年ヨハネスブルグ、ケープタウン、南アフリカでデータセンターを開設する計画だ。

調査会社International Data Corp.(IDC)は、南アフリカではクラウドによる売上は243000000ドルと推定され、2021年間20%成長すると予想されている。

Microsoft、クラウドサービスの3大企業、アマゾン・ドット・コム(AMZN)や文字(「GOOGL)は、2016年にクラウドコンピューティング設備に合わせて31540000000ドルを費やしており、Wall Street Journalが伝えている。

Microsoft  (MSFT) plans to open data centers in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa next year to serve customers of its Azure cloud computing software. Data research firm International Data Corp. estimated that cloud revenue in South Africa was $243 million, with that number expected to grow 20% annually through 2021. Microsoft, Amazon.com  (AMZN) and Alphabet  (GOOGL) , the top three players in cloud services, spent a combined $31.54 billion in cloud computing capital expenditures in 2016, according to the Wall Street Journal. • 電子政府の提案の一体化したデータ共有プラットフォーム

北京、5月18日(中国)】中国の中央政府省庁との情報交換の効率を向上させるために国別データを共有プラットフォームを構築することを約束した。

省庁や他の中央当局は2018年6月の情報システムを実現する国家的プラットフォームにリンクするか、国務院の事務室が発表した行動計画による。

2018年6月は中央省庁と地方自治体との情報接続性の事前設定の期限でもある。

計画では、2017年末の時点で、基幹システムで早期に結果を出すことを求め、個人や企業の利便性を向上させる。

政府内のデータの使用への対応に加えて、また、公開データサービスの進展を求めた。

政府は、「サービスを通して利用可能にされた政府データの使用を奨励し、指導する計画だ。

BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) — China’s central government pledged building a national data-sharing platform to boost the efficiency of inter-agency information exchanges. Ministries and other central authorities should link their information systems to the national platform before the end of June 2018, according to an action plan published by the General Office of the State Council Thursday. June 2018 is also the deadline for the preliminary establishment of information connectivity between central agencies and local governments.

ROBOTS are the subject for discussion at this month’s Oxford business book club. The group will be talking about Martin Ford’s book Rise of the Robots, which asks how business will change with the rise of artificial intelligence. It also questions whether any jobs or industries are safe. The group of entrepreneurs meet once a month to network. Organisers say it is not necessary to read the book in advance but it is available at a £3 discount from Blackwell’s.
