Lidar マッピング州ノバスコシア州を開くデータ ポータル経由でオープン ライセンスの下で可能です。ライダー (レーザー イメージング検出と測距) は、散乱光の特性および/または遠いターゲットの情報を測定する光リモート センシング技術として記述されます。数センチ以内の精度で高精度な地形図を生成するレーザー、GPS、慣性航法装置を兼ね備えています。 Lidar データを利用して、沿岸洪水マッピング、地質マッピング、交通、農林、考古学など様々 な方法で。 ライダー、非常に正確なマッピング ツールにより、ノバ Scotians の意思決定です。

Lidar mapping in the Province is now available under an open license via Nova Scotia’s Open Data Portal. Lidar (Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging) is described as an optical remote sensing technology which measures properties of scattered light and/or information of a distant target. It combines laser, GPS and inertial navigation systems to produce highly accurate topographic maps with accuracy within a few centimetres. Lidar data is utilized in various ways including Coastal Flood Mapping, Geological mapping, Transportation, Forestry and Archaeology. Lidar, an extremely accurate mapping tool, enables better decision making for Nova Scotians.
