Keep in touch Stay up-to-date with what we’re doing This international competition is collaboration between Wellcome and the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), with support from Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Each of the shortlisted teams will now get $80,000 to develop their prototypes over the next seven months. The six projects will then go head to head in a public vote at the end of the year, when you can help to decide the final winner who will receive $230,000 to take forward their innovation.
