Maltby gives his views on the recent annual report (Whitehall Monitor 2015) published by the Institute for Government (IfG), which takes a retrospective look at central government and chart changes since 2010. In the post Maltby encourages all the ‘Armchair Auditors’ out there – individuals and institutions that use opened-up public information to hold public bodies to account – to keep up with their efforts “to press government to maintain commitment and progress on open data”.
