Transport for London (TfL) has launched a new transparency strategy, through which it intends to provide better access to information and more clarity around the release of key data. Earlier this year, TfL carried out a public consultation with customers and stakeholders about how it could increase public access to the information it holds. As a result of the consultation, TfL received 93 responses from a range of stakeholders, with suggestions about information they would want the organisation to release. “For many years we have published a huge amount of information and data, and this strategy is the next step in going even further.” Among the most prominent transparency decisions made, is the online publishing of of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests from next year.
