The third of three columns on municipal issues related to the provincial election.Alberta’s political leaders are hearing it about overcrowded classrooms. This is no surprise given the province’s exploding population and the lack of new schools for all our new students. The main issue — and this has hit many Edmonton parents like a sledgehammer — is a lack of schools in suburban neighbourhoods. It has led to both overcrowding and kids being bused to distant schools.
