With voting for the winners of this year’s Digital Leaders 100 well underway, we wanted to let you know more about the 100 nominees who have made it onto the list across all ten categories. Today we begin with Digital Council of the Year. The focus on the digital by default agenda within local councils is bigger than ever before, as more and more public services move online. The Digital Council of the Year award is specifically designed to celebrate local councils across the UK that are setting an example by using digital services to boost innovation and collaboration with citizens. The ten finalists for Digital Council of the Year are: Its Code For Europe programme works on creating new apps and services based on open data.
