Looking for something tech-related to do in the next few weeks? We’ve chosen a few of our favourite upcoming tech events happening across Canada. A lot of hackathons focus on building something good. This one is all about building something that will do some good. The goal is to work on technology projects that will help human rights and peace groups around the world. Project include working with a group in South Sudan that’s using social media to challenge the escalation of violence in that region, a group in Kenya that’s working to raise awareness of violence against women or helping increase the transparency of aid to Palestine. It’s at The Hive in Vancouver on April 11 and 12.
