COLUMBIA — Each week, the Missourian highlights a government record that is available to the public. For a complete list of Show Me the Records, go to columbiamissourian.com/records. The records: The city website has up-to-date information on police and fire dispatches, new businesses and health inspections. Why you’d want them: The data contain information on general business licenses, liquor licenses and information on contractors. There is information on how local restaurants fared on recent health inspections. There are also updates on emergency dispatches.
