Publishing his first web page was a eureka moment for Jason Clark, who began his library career as an assistant at Marquette University Library in 1995–96, while completing his BA in English and philosophy. In the mid-1990s, most of the public was just beginning to learn about the World Wide Web, but Clark understood that the technology would revolutionize libraries and information sharing. “I could reach anybody who had that URL address,” he says. “I could see that libraries had services to evolve and that digital technologies might have solutions. It was on us to figure it out.” Now, as head of Library Informatics and Computing at Montana State University (MSU) Library, Clark is certainly doing his part to develop those solutions.
