India’s Open Government Data Platform – data.gov.in is a repository of large number of datasets meticulously divided into catalogues. All the datasets available are made available in adherence with the principles of Open Data Movement, which mandate easy access for further reuse in machine readable format. The datasets here are primarily sourced from the huge amount of data which is collected by various government institutions for administrative purposes and put together in machine readable format and made available on this platform.
