At Granicus, we believe that open government creates a meaningful connection between citizens and their government and inspires leaders to create stronger, more inclusive communities. We also believe that open data is the driving force behind making government more accessible to the people. Achieving open government is a two-fold issue: citizens need easier access and better tools to the public data that can affect how governments make decisions, and government organizations need those tools to be easily incorporated into staffers’ everyday processes.
