Labour’s shadow Cabinet Office minister Chi Onwurah has called for a Data Review to ensure a common ethical framework that supports both open data and people controlling their own data If this election is a choice between competence and chaos then on data the only logical option is to vote Labour. Towards the end of last year, Labour’s independent Digital Review of Government published its Report . There were 35 recommendations which we are currently studying but the one we accepted immediately was the need for a review of government data sharing.
