Apps for Europe, a European network of hackathon and competition organizers working with open data, is presently holding their online competition seeking the best in open data applications. Organizers are looking to give away EUR 5000 to the winner, plus you win a spot at the International Business Lounge and meet potential investors. Applications are being accepted until the end of this month. Last year’s winner, Austrian startup BikeCityGuide, went on to do a successful investment crowdfunding campaign raising a solid EUR 136,550 on GreenRocket.
