Agency aims to rollout consolidated database as live service in 2015 to create world’s first national open register of business information Companies House said it is working to switch a new consolidated database designed to open up all data it holds on UK enterprises from private to public beta ahead of attempts to launch as a live service next year. An executive agency of the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), Companies House claimed the plan would see the UK become the first country to offer an open register of business information.
