The Australian economy missed out on $48 billion last year due to a lack of expertise in making the best out of digital data smarts, a new report has found. The Google-commissioned PwC report, entitled Deciding with data, attempted to place a dollar value on the contribution to Australia of using insights from data to solve problems, improve business efficiency and create new products.
