性別データの重要性の認識が高まっているにもかかわらず、影響をもたらす性別データの具体例-法制、政府のプログラムやポリシー、ベスト・プラクティス、もしくは認識/行動に違い-を見つけるのは容易ではない。

データの監視およびDevexとパートナーシップを組み、data2xはこれらの事例を識別し、それらを増幅するために働いているので、統計家、データサイエンティスト、ジェンダー平等の支持者、市民、政策立案者たちは、性別データのギャップを埋めると、完全なデータを用いて政策改善のために声をあげる必要があることを示す例があります。

Despite increased awareness of the importance of gender data, concrete examples of gender data leading to impact – on legislation, government programs or policies, practices/behaviors, or perceptions/attitudes – are not easy to find. Data2X, in partnership with Open Data Watch and Devex, is working to identify these stories and amplify them, so that statisticians, data scientists, gender equality advocates, citizens, and policymakers have the examples they need to advocate for closing gender data gaps and using complete data to improve policy.
