The future of travel will be dominated by artificial intelligence, driverless vehicles and luggage that follows you around like a Labrador — or at least it will be if all the innovations on display last week at the Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas, are widely adopted. That faithful suitcase is the 90Fun Puppy 1, Chinese-designed luggage that uses a Segway-inspired driving system to balance on two wheels and remain a respectful two paces behind you as you weave through a busy airport. It uses ultra-wideband radio positioning and radar to home in on the beacon you carry in your pocket.
