Data.gov.sgの他、陸上交通庁(LTA)など他の機関も、公用に政府のデータを公開します。今週の記事では、LTAのDataモールに設けられたランプの支柱のデータセットを見てみましょう。

シンガポールの立ち並ぶ118,588以上のランプの支柱があります。セットは人間が読みやすいものにするため、われわれはShapefileデータGeoJSON形式のファイルに変換されます。

以下のコード片は、出力から採取した2のデータ・ポイントの例を次に示します。

各データ点は、ランプの支柱の地理的な位置の座標が含まれています。LTAによって提供される座標は、SVY21投影を使用して表現され、これは、我々が慣れ親しんでいる180°、経度システムに標準の-90度から90度、180°とは異なる場合があります。

Besides Data.gov.sg, other agencies such as the Land Transport Authority (LTA), also publish government data for public use. For this week’s story, we’ll be taking a look at the Lamp Posts dataset provided on LTA’s Data mall. There are over 118,588 lamp posts lining the streets all over Singapore. To make the dataset more human readable, we have converted the Shapefile data into a GeoJSON formatted file. The snippet below is an example of two data points taken from the output: Each data point contains a coordinate pair marking the geographical location of the lamp post.
